Buying Tokens

In this section, we’ll unlock the true potential of Based Bot and show you how to ape into tokens.

Buy your first token, use the monitor to track your position's PnL and prepare your exit with our automations.

To buy a token, simply paste contract address, pool address or anything.

Token Monitor

From here you have the choice on the amount you want to buy. If the predefined buttons does not suits your needs, you can go in your settings and change the predefined amount. You can also click on "Buy X ETH or SOL" and enter the amount of ETH or SOL you want to buy.

💥 Price impact

To manage your price impact tolerance, just clicks on the 'Impact' button

📈 Slippage

To manage your buy slippage, just clicks on the 'Slip' button

🚀 Gas fees

To manage your gas fees, click on the Gas button to select a predefined option. Or you can customize them by clicking on Custom.

💸 Buy Buttons/Sell Buttons Config

You can change predefined values on the buy buttons

  • Access your settings with /settings

  • Find "Buy Buttons" or "Sell Buttons"

  • Remove or add buttons

⚡ Quick Buy

If don't want to lose time by clicking and entering the amount you want to buy, you can enable quick buy in your settings.

  • Access your settings with /settings

  • Find "Quick Buy"

  • Click on switch so it says "Enabled"

  • Edit the amount

💎 Shill

The Shill button automatically generates a link to share the token along with your referral. Example: https://t.me/based_eth_bot?start=r_<referral>_b_<mint>

  • r_<referral>: your unique referral code, used to track invited users.

  • b_<mint>: the token mint address, used to directly promote a specific token.

📈 Chart

The Chart button opens the token’s chart in a popup window.

🤑 PnL Card

The PnL Card button generates a shareable image of your trade performance.

🛡 Audit

Audit opens a window to automatically analyze the token contract and check for any malicious code. This service is provided by our partner, Serialized Audit.

🤖 Automations

You can manage Take Profit and Stop Loss settings by clicking the respective buttons:

  • Green means enabled, Red means disabled.

  • The second button sets the target percentage — the % gain or loss that will trigger the sell.

  • The third button defines the percentage of your position to sell when the trigger is hit.

You can also manage Auto Dev Sell (automatically sell when the dev sells):

  • Again, Green = On, Red = Off.

  • You can also configure the slippage used for dev sells.
